Perfect Reflection

During a cruise to Antarctica in last November we had one beautiful day in the Errera Channel. The sun was shining brightly from a clear blue sky and there was nearly no wind at all. The sea water in the channel was even like a mirror. It was an amazing sight with all that gorgeous landscape reflecting perfectly in the water. Not only mountains and glaciers were mirrored in the sea surface but small or medium sized icebergs were also appearing twice in the scene. I do not want to talk much more about this beautiful scene and let the images speak for themselves.

I took these photos with my EOS 600D camera and my EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 standard zoom kit lens. The camera was set into P mode and calculated aperture and shutter speed automatically. ISO was at fixed value of 200. The photos were taken hand-held from aboard a small rubber boat.
